The online casino will be launched later this year, and this agreement signed by one of the world’s leading entertainment companies and the multinational sports betting and gaming group represents a continuation of their successful cooperation in the past years.
It is a well-known fact that GVC provides software services and support for the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in New Jersey, which is only one of many resort brands owned by MGM Resorts. Furthermore, GVC Holdings has also powered Borgata’s online casino and poker since 2013, when online gambling was regulated in New Jersey.
The base for playMGM brand will be the new-and-improved version of GVC’s proprietary technology stack, which will be available both on desktop and mobile devices. A large portion of games will be developed in-house, but there will be lots of popular products delivered by third-party suppliers.
